Comparative adjectives are used when 2 things are compared.

Superlative adjectives are used when many things are compared.

irregular adjectives

far          further        the furthest


short regular adjectives: adj.+ -er  I`m  taller than you.

short regular adjectives: adj. + est I`m the tallest in the class.

this pen is worse than yours.
